Incase you have not read any of my other posts,i have a 16hh chestnut mare on trial with a view to buy.
I noticed this before she had her knock to her back leg so dont think its related to that but.........She seems shaky on her front legs, she is not lame now at all. She just trembles n them when she is standing still its a bit odd??? anyone ever seen this before??

Hi. my big horse used to tremble very slightly on his front legs when standing still, usually grazing. It wasn't very obvious to everybody.
He had navicular which his previous owner (while racing) had him de-nerved for. The nerves rejoined though eventually which led to the trembling. He was never obviously lame other than the trembling. It might be worth getting your mare checked out for that?

never had experience of this. I hope it is nothing serious. Have you arranged for the vet to come back yet?

yep vet is arranged for tuesday only day i dont have the baby in the day so i will let you know how it goes ......got no nails left!!!!

My boy Avie's front legs tremble like that, it's almost as if he doesn't lock his knees?!?!? Doesn't cause him any worries though he jumps etc fine. Hope it goes ok!!!
