as most of you probably know from my other posts my baby is on box rest due to her feet cracking from the top down and causing her to be crippled. My farrier only suggested boxrest for this so i looked up different supplements, i bought some hoofmender and have just started using it, as her hoof has a filling over it and i cant see it i dont know if this is helping her at all. But i was wondering if anyone had any experience of using hoofmender and what people think of it? I have also just found healthy hooves which has biotin in it. so fingers xd it all helps! ill try anything!!

HI there, I have no experience in using Hoofmender so i can not comment on that product. I do however know someone who there horse a Cob has bad feet his are stapled at the moment and his owner has him on Farriers formula it stinks like fish i think but its works his cracks have not got worse and they are growing out very well.
Biotin you can buy as a supplement from a very good online store that i buy my supplements from and people at , yard get there MSM there as well, Very good prices and no fillers if you PM i can give you the web site. Hope her feet get better real soon. Lisa I can speak very highly of the company.

Hi there I have used farriers formula on a mare with horrific feet and it did help but it takes a while and have previously used biotin on another horse which was also a helped. Some things work better for one horse than another so I suspect sadly it will be a bit of trial an error. Good Luck
