Just got home from another fantastic Scotnorth weekend. I have to say that the venue was pretty good, was lovely being able to get bed and breakfast on site - plus the bistro last night. Great company but so blummin cold last night. The show today was great. Lovely to see so many stunning horses. Every one was very well behaved ( the horses were good too) and I hope everyone had a fun day. For me the highlights were that no one needed by first aid services :Dso thats always a good start and.... I took my lovely El B, he was very well behaved, especially considering he had a 3 hour journey yesterday, stabled in a strange place last night and all the comings and goings today, it was his first outing since leaving racing. He only entered the inhand class, coped really well with being in an indoor school, had me in fits admiring himself in the mirrors and to top it all came 2nd. We did not enter the champion class as he had done good and that was all I could ask for. I also got to met the lady who rode him and loved him when he was in training, so was some what emotional. Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to make it happen for the enjoyment of club members
