Hello all
There is so much going on, and we have welcomed quite a few new members this month, that we felt a second June Update would be a good idea.
The Festival of the Ex Racehorse (Scotland) is on the 5th July, so if you have not already sent your entry please make sure you get this in before the closing date !!!

12th July is the DC Grahams show (Yorkshire), hosting ScotNorth in hand and ridden classes. This is one of a series of dates. The ScotNorth horse accumulating the most points over the showing series will win an award - points are accrued in any class.
Closely following this on the 18th July is the Newtown St Boswells Show (Scotland)where, as well as the ScotNorth in hand and ridden classes, we are also sponsoring awards in the hunter classes.
On the 19th July there is the South Durham Showing Group show (Co Durham) with ScotNorth in hand and ridden classes.
Also on the 19th we have the Equus RC Show (Yorkshire) hosting ScotNorth in hand and ridden classes. This is one of a series of dates. The ScotNorth horse accumulating the most points over the showing series will win an award - points are accrued in any class.
We will update you on August events in mid July.
One VERY exciting event we have added to the August Schedule is Express Eventing at the Scottish National Equestrian Centre, where the Edinburgh & District Riding Club are holding their first ever such event. A special rosette will be awarded to the highest placed ScotNorth horse IN EVERY CLASS. So, those budding eventers amongst us can go have some fun !!
Full details of all ScotNorth events are in the calendar on the main website www.scotnorthexracers.co.uk
Here is a link to the calendar page.

So, we hope that you all have a really enjoyable July - there is certainly plenty to do anyway.
LisaH & the planning committee.
