as some of you know eyes has been on his bestest behaviour this year (compared to previous yrs when he was always recognised in the ringwith his trade mark sideways canter!)
so I decided to see how he went off his calmer as I have cut his feed down quite a lot due to his expanding waist line he came off his calmer the last week of november and all was fine for the first week or so then just this last week he is back to being spooky arguementative and most of all the cantering sideways round the school and taking ages to settle to needless to say he is back on his calmer as of mon!!!
so for anyone wondering if calmers make a difference yes they do!!!
Dana will kill me if Itake him off it agin

I am gonna put Max on it for 6 months to see if it helps with his busy chopsy mouth, when dealing with him on the ground. Its more annoying than anything as everything has to be in his Gob. My plan of action is to try and break the cycle. I always had Lucie on it. Mind you all mine are yahooing around, I think its mainly the drop in the temperature that has done it for mine and that they can't wait to come in for a feed.

Im going to put piggy on it, through the rest of the winter. I know this works, not jsut from what Lins has said but also because of the conversation i had with Jonathan when i first joined the club and told him some fo the horses we had.
"Do you know eyes dont lie?" "yes, i didnt think they'd be able re home that nut job, i'd have thought it would have needed shot or something, who the hell bought that? thjey need a medal getting on it!"
lol poor eyes, so yeah i guess top spec calmer works!

It DOES work, look at wee Brian. He may not be a hacking horse but after going on the calmer he turned into a lovely wee showjumper, long may it continue.

The Top Spec Calmer didn't make a dot of difference with Kyle and he was on it for a good 8 months. But then another may work for him. Or maybe he is just special hmm probs the later

You know, for the week and a half before Bonneyton Show Kyle was getting a triple dose of the stuff! Hehehe! Each to their own! Maybe I should try feeding him hyperactive cubes! See if they have the opposite effect on him!
