im sure his confidence will come in time, how long has he been jumping for? also it might be your self cos your kinda half expecting him to stop therefore he will stop, your probs consentrating more on ' oh no there is a new jump in this course' rather than actually sitting up keeping the contact and riding into the fence you should probz get a cpl of lessons just as someoen on the grond will see things you dont good luck

I would get a good instructor, whats he like at home? ? I would vary jumps as much as possible at home to build his confidence, and GRIDWORK GRIDWORK GRIDWORK!!! Keep things really small until his confidence is there. Goodluck xxxx
