As discussed in the online meeting we have now got a venue and set a date for the first Scottish & Northern Show.
SUNDAY 11TH MAY.
The venue is The GG Centre.
www.theggcentre.com/facilities/arenas.asp
This is a fantastic venue with brilliant facilities.
The show has 2 fantastic sponsors - Top Spec who will be donating prizes on the day and Premier Equine International who are donating 4 fleece rugs from their Buster range as prizes.
The schedule is just about ready, but, as was also discussed this will be an open show, but, because we are registered with the Ultimate Showcase it will be a full qualifying show so you can bring all your friends from the yard as there is something for everybody. As competitors of the show, after you have finished showing, or before, you will be able to use all the facilities at the centre.
They also do stable hire. This is £15 per night per horse, you must bring your own hay, feed and bedding. The stables are permanent stables and a good size, and each has it's own tack room with a full door at the back that is also a decent size. I am going to discuss the possibility of a turnout paddock aswell nearer the time. Anybody that needs to pitch a tent can do so free of charge in the picnic area. If you want to use the facilitities on any other day than the show day, you will have to Pay £10 per day per horse, but this is well worth it.
Because it is an open qualifying show, all competitors that want to qualify for the Ultimate must register with us, this includes the non TB's, anybody who is not a member can not qualify. Wherever possible could this please be done before the show.
Anybody wanting to book a stable or need any more info p-lease pm me, and I will let you know when the schedules are ready.
