Hi Have been looking at rehoming for a while now and was just wondering if someone could explain the difference (if any) between this and actually buying one?!! Does rehoming mean you have the horse on loan forever or do you have to pay for them?? Am currently looking for one that is ideally 16hh plus and wants to have fun competing, hacking, showing!! Don't have a preference with regard to sex etc. Free to good home would be great....or very cheap lol...(hope that's not cheeky) Thanks in advance

It's open to interpretation. To some rehoming means just that, finding the horse a new home with nothing wanted in return - giving the horse basically. Others want money.
On a slightly different vein, I have a 16hh 6yo Gelding for full, long term loan who has had a year out of training and needs started pretty much from scratch.
