Due to new baby, full time job and resulting lack of time i'm putting the feelers out for a new home for this lovely boy. He's been out of racing for 4 years and is well schooled. Very brave horse that rarely spooks at anything, every time i take him places - indoor school, forest rides, buzzy shows, he never puts a foot wrong. I think he'd be a fab eventer as he's really brave, but i dont jump at that level so cant say. He won the only exracer class we entered and is much admired. I sent him to a professional rider for 2 months in the spring with a view to getting him fit while i was off having a baby and he came back looking fab with a great report card from her - a total gentleman and a real trier when being schooled. He loves to work and i just cant offer him that for the foreseeable future. Perfect with farrier, vet, dentist. Kind of horse you can leave the stable door open and he won't come out as he knows thats not allowed. Friends kids have groomed his legs and he's stood stock still. Uncomplicated in every way. So....home far more important than price but would rather hang on to him than sell him to the wrong place - so you will be vetted! Hi Avril, as you know I love this lad and I said I'd keep a look out. If he's still for sale have passed your details on to a lovely lady called Anna who's looking for a horse after her new boy gave her a wee bit of a fright - fingers X'd she is the one for Alex. L xx

Unfortunately here I am bumping this advert again. Alex has been in a wonderful loan home over the winter but she doesn't think she can hang on to him, so i think in a few weeks he'll be back at mine. My circumstances aren't going to be the best for this situation so i really need to find him a forever home asap. On the plus side she's got him fit, riding him most days and he's been out at riding club events. She's also had his back and saddle done so he's ready to go for the summer season. not keen on another loan, as i cant really keep taking him back but to the right home he would essentially be free. Contact me if you know of an experienced home for Alex. Thanks xx
