Looking for any info on Jan of Arc, 16hh chestnut mare who is 6yrs old. She last raced in July '09 I think and I believe was trained by Jim Goldie. Does anyone know her, looking for any info on what kind of wee person she is. Thank you.

Does anyone know her, looking for any info on what kind of wee person she is. Thank you. She raced 37 times for Jim Goldie from 07 onwards, prior to this she was with Tim Easterby. She has raced on the flat and over hurdles. She won twice, was 2nd twice, and 3rd 4 times. She won a total of £11,364 in prize money and her last start was on 1st July 09 when she came 10th out of 15. She sold for 8,000 euros at Deauville as a foal and was unsold at 18,000 euros as a yearling. She was also entered at Doncaster in 2007 but was withdrawn. As Lisa says you can contact Jim Goldie, or perhaps Tim Easterby might recall her. ;D This is her on the left in the yellow and blue colours just behind the leader.. johngracing.thirdlight.com/viewpicture.tlx?albumid=215346&pictureid=9335738

Hi there, I new jane of arc very well, I work at Jim Goldies yard. She was mainly good to ride as long as you had a lead horse, was pretty fast at home but not to fast when she went to the races. She hates flies and shakes and bucks when they are about but you probably know that already. When you mucked her out it was best to tie her up as she liked to escape when ever she could. Good natured wee horse. What is she up to now?

Oh dear....sad news Lynsey.
I was all set to have her vetted in August and the owner had a family crisis so I waited for 2 months as arranged and when I next got in touch I was told that the poor horse had died at the end of Oct following a broken leg from a field kick. She said they got the mare up to Vet School but she didn't survive the operation.
Really gutted cause she seemed like such a sweet wee horse (although I didn't know about the bucking!) and was only 6.
So....Im on the hunt for a similar laid back TB, if you know of anything at Jim's yard.......although having said that I'm hopefully meeting Miss Cracklin Rosie from the ReHoming section on here this weekend, if the snow isn't too bad.
