Ambushed
'Bushy' was rehomed 4 years ago by a person who had recently set up as a ''racehorse rehoming and rehab'' centre in Central Scotland. She was used to rehome him as a favour through the contact of an owner at the time (not Bushy's owner) in order to get her started.
I can not go into details of who etc as this person sold him on but did not pass back any money to Bushy's owner - she is no longer in business anyway.
So Ambushed was sold on by this person and he is the only horse of all those rehomed over the past 14 years where we have no idea where he is and how he is doing. The person will not tell us where he went and I think about him a lot and wonder whether he is happy, safe and loved.
We would love to hear from his owner (don't worry, we have written off the outstanding money and just want to know he is happy, loved and safe).
Bushy is a 16.1 dark bay, fabulous temprament and just a lovely horse all round - we really would just love to hear how he is. He was a true star in training, tried his heart out for us in every race and we so regret letting him go to a third party for re-homing.
Please, if you have Bushy or know who does, please ask them to get in touch and let us know how he is.
Many thanks
LisaH

Hi,
do you have a photo of him.
I am trying to trace my boy back to his racing days. Got him from a dealer in Fife who said he came over from Ireland without a passport - I now know she said the same thing about other horses sold on. It has since been suggested that he may have been an ex national hunt racehorse. His legs have been fired and we believe he may have had a tie back operation as he has a very strange whinny. He is about 17 and the sweetest natured horse you can be meet, very polite !

Hi there
I will put up a photo of him - he is 14 years old, dark bay. He hadn't had a tie back and his legs were clean so I don't think he is Bushy. If you want to PM me the dealers name I will let you know whether it is the same person - I can say on here that it was a female :-)
If you have your boy's racing name I can help you to trace him.
Thanks very much for your post.
Lisa
