What is the correct attire for in hand showing, for both horse and person??

I'd stay with tweed jacket, (colour to suit horse), either hard hat or akubra/western style to compliment, but check show rules to see if any specification (and if you've the same problem as I have, whichever will stay put!), trousers/jods to (again to compliment colour of jacket) and boots you can run in. Carry a showing cane (either leather covered or bamboo) and gloves (again to compliment rest of outfit.)
Pip's a bright chestnut so I wear an olive coloured jacket with olive moleskin trousers, either an olive western style brimmed hat or hard hat, tan gloves, tan showing stick and dark brown jod boots.

PS: His Nibs wears a havanna in-hand bridle with narow stitched noseband and brass clincher browband with a gold-coloured loose ring snaffle bit (see above). Hope this helps!

Ideally you should wear trousers that are a contrasting colour from your horse, so as Lucy has black legs, you wear beige trousers so the judge can tell the difference. You also need shoes you can run in. In hand is fun you'll have a great time.

mell ideally dont wear white shirt as it looks amaturish, wear a cream/yellow, blue or sometimes even pink or lavender one but obv its gotta match your jacket and tie as well tho. yeh and wear trousers with short boots thats you can run in but most importantly, have fun good luck guys
