Hi all Just wanted to give you a quick update. Not going ahead with the exracer I had in mind cause the trainer was looking to recover a £3k debt on the sale of the horse and I didn't feel I would want, or afford, to be paying so much for a horse that would need retraining etc. Since my horse buying budget at the moment is totally tiny, beyond totally tiny to be honest, I have decided to wait until Spring before looking to buy however if a nice loan comes up in the meantime or a suitable exracer can be bought for a token amount then I would go for it before next year. Many, many thanks for all the advice, it is much appreciated.

Thank you Shoetimesshadow......very good advice but at the moment (however long that lasts!!! ) my sensible head is refusing to allow me to contact LisaH until next Spring......am really trying hard NOT to be impulsive here (for once ) cause I have a lot on at the moment with 2 part time jobs and 30 odd animals to look after and if I were sensible I should really leave it til Spring and in the meantime just work away and save my min wage £'s and have a rethink about my "no horse" situation then......and that would give me time to find a loan home for my pony and the whole winter to just focus on my 2yr gelding for a change. Must stay sensible..... ;)must stay sensible...... ;D mutter mutter........
