Well Prophit uses a rubber mullen bit and loves it he was never happy in a snaffle.
At the moment Parker is in a full cheek french link and we'll see how he goes in that at the moment he is on a light contact rein when out hacking but still seems responsive on this.

yh argy is a 5" but if its a loose ring i like to get a 1/2 " bigger so it doesn pinch although the myler is 5.5" as i wasnt gonna buy a new one lol - im a sad mother  |

I'm not sure what to try with Magic for the best. I don't want to upset him by trying too many different bits as he seems quite sensitive to change and doesn't cope too well!! All I do know is that he isn't happy with the current bit!

No, had them done in August when I first got him and according to the dentist, it looked as though he'd had them done possibly about 5 or 6 months before. I think it's probably all the changes that he is going through and been expected to live with. He just won't relax properly in his mouth with the current Myler, yet seemed great in the low port one. I am trying to get another low port comfort snaffle at the moment...........keeping an eye on eBay as since the fire I am skint and can't afford to go and buy a brand new one at £55!

argy is far happier with is bit and mouth now he is in the myler and had his teeth done
who is your dentist jane?
but still tryiing to get argy to take a contact isa problem - i guesss it takes time and lots of schooling

I've used Laura Chaffe for the last couple of years and really like her attitude and way with the horses. The fact that she comes to me within about a week of calling her too is a big bonus!
Lisa has kindly offered to come and see Magic and bring some bits with her, so hopefully she may have something that he likes and I can get him the same thing. I'm also begining to wonder if perhaps it is saddle related too..............Great more money on top of everything else!!! My OH will be delighted!
