Brooke and I haven't been schooling a great deal until friends horse went lame and i have lacked a hacking buddy. Normally I warm her up on quite a loose rein and then start to work, she has always been really good at working in a reasonable outline and drops on to the bit with not a lot of contact. I just normally push her on to it, rather than pull her if you get my drift. However, at the moment as soon as I take a contact, she is poking her nose out and evading it. I am riding her in a eggbut french link, which she has always been happy in. I have a myler that i might go back to as she worked well in that before. The dentist is due next month, as that crossed my mind. Any input would be welcome. Oh and yeah, i think perhaps we will book a few lessons. It is probably me anyway

It sounds like you need the dentist honey - unless you have changed her bit or bridle recently.
LauraChaffe on here is a horse dentist , she is coming out to do my boys next Thursday. Her mobile is 07795 682214 if you don't have a dentist for Brooke.

Not changed anything Lisa. I think you 2 may be right. We normally get sofia who is a vet as well as a dentist to do ours. She is not due until July sometime so may well speak to Laura. Thanks.
