Fab fab fab logo - can't wait to get my hands on it. I really like Valerie's idea - are there any famous examples Lisa? I think if we went that route we could also get a bit of publicity (thinking with the PR hat on!)

how about asking Peter for a name ( his favourite racer perhaps) as our Patron.
the other names that spring to mind are
'Blue' kinda obvious but also the name of Joey's horse who is such a good advocate for exracers.
DJ or Bob, with out either of these horses I doubt whether either Lisa or Sandra would be so passionate about exracers
'Rens' a re-arranging of SNER
or something around Aldaniti - I know his 'come back' was in racing but kind of like the pheonix bit.

What about CHAMELEON (changing to its environment) or ENDEAVOUR (speaks for itself)

i'd say transformation (a ex-race horse) who's going onto great things! But you can't as it's Nyx's racing name But I like the idea of asking Peter for a name, that's a nice thought! ;D

What a lovely idea asking Peter. Dizzy - he loved her so much. She was his first Cheltenham winner and the most honest , beautiful and loving mare you could ever want to meet. She won at Cheltenham and sadly fell in her next race and never got up. I don't know if it would be right to name our horse after her though because she was just so very special but such a devastatingly sad ending to a brilliant career for Peter. I love the idea of 'Blue' provided Jojo is OK with that - after all the horse is Blue He has achieved so much with Jojo and is a shining example of what can be achieved out of racing. DJ and Bob are both honoured too - but I don't think it would be right for either of them to be singled out. Yes they are both so special to Sandra and I but they already have their 'honours' because without them this club would not exist, but thank you so much for thinking of them To use other well known names like Aldaniti, Best Mate etc may get us into problems with copyright and trademarks as many of these horses names are copyrighted - such is life ! Keep the suggestions coming - something will come up. How about naming the horse after a well known racing personality - like Peter ( ) or Frankie ................ L xxxxxx

Hey us Celtic types must stick together I do like Wallace too and wouldn't be offended that a Scottish Name was used. Think of all that heritage behind it and they did have an Aussie in the film!!!! Given the occassional behaviour of the 2 ex-racers I have owned, maybe the diminutive "Wally" would be more appropriate?
