Can't begin to tell you how chuffed I am that you all enjoyed the piece with Amanda and Skips. I always grab the chance to do any animal stories - most especially horsey ones - but this one was special, because of the racehorse connection - and because it was fun!

Mindy what a great story, that is amazing Colin had seen the footage and got in touch and kept all those keepsakes and even a painting. He must of been very special to him and obviously to you. There must be loads of lads and lasses that are desperate to find out where the horses they looked so well after day in day out went and what came of them. This must of really made Colins day! I reckon this was all fate! xx

Aw Mindy
i am so glad Colin 'found' you both - he must have been the lad who used to lead him up at the races. He always looked so delighted that Skips got home safe and clearly worshipped the ground the horse galloped on. I'll bet he was every bit as delighted as I was when he 'found' Skips and you - I remember my heart taking a HUGE jump when you joined and I saw you had Skips, he was so fabulous to watch on the race course and I am sure that Colin will have all his races on tape.
What a wonderful outcome to Gilly's great idea for a TV piece.
Now I am crying too - I LOVE Skips and am so happy that he has you and now Colin too.

What a wonderful film. It really has given me lots of hope for the future with my own boy.
Mindy you really are to be congratulated as your horse is lovely and all your hard work with him is very evident. I saw you both at Thirlstane and all I can say is you have every right to be a proud mum!
