Would just like to say a huge thankyou to Lisa for organising Thirlestane Masterclass and Parade. I was in the ridden class and had a fantastic day. I thought it was very nice how they did the talk about the ex racers and each individual horse, the turnout was great, lots of people watching and all horses looked amazing. The rossettes were stunning as well. Met lots of lovely members from Scotland and can't wait until next year!! I was intending to come back on the Sunday to do the parade as I enjoyed it that much, I got home, cleaned tack again, replaited Maggie, washed jodpurs and shirt, re packed the car and was all set for the early start the nexy day until I woke up at 4.00am with heavy storms lashing against the bedroom window and the garden near to flooding. There was no sign of it letting up and it didn't stop until 10:30am so I didn't want to chance driving with the trailer in that weather, was totally gutted. Hope you all had a fantastic day today, I was thinking about you all and hope to see you all again shortly as I intend to come to Lanark show. Thanks once again Lisa for organising a great day, I think the ex racers will have done the club proud as Mam and Dad were talking to several people and they were all very impressed with them.

:(I would also like to also say a big thank you to Lisa and everyone else who helped during the weekend.Unfortunately I was unable to go as I was working. My horse Todd(Silver Bullet) did make an appearance on both days with my friend Sarah riding him in which she came 5th in the master class. When she came home she presented me with an absolutely fantastic rosette. Tomorrow when I Finnish work I'll be able to watch all the action as they taped it all on the camcorder. Hope everyone else had a great day and I hope see all soon at another event. Once again a very big thank you

As the owner of an honorary ex racer (really a Welsh D that likes to play with occasional ex racer) I have to say I was really really impressed with how the parade thing was organised. Lisa did a fab talk. Everyone was turned out to such a high standard (I especially loved the side saddle...). All the horses seemed to really look like they were enjoying doing their little show pieces.
Well done everyone! It looked like fun

What a weekend. It was amazing. The horses all looked fantastic, and went beautifully. I haven't laughed so much for I don't know how long. The craic was fab. The rosettes were beautiful. I heard two eventers commenting that they wouldn't mind winning them as I ran past with them on the way to the ring. The venue was totally out of this world. The weather was good Lisa's commentary was brilliant, informative and professional. I must of got something in my eyes as they were a bit watery during some of the horses history's and achievements. It was worth nagging Lisa to do it. Thank you Durafarm for the loan of Izzy in the dog show. We won dog that the judge would most like to take home. Izzy won not me! Cheers Lisa it was the best weekend ever, nest year'll be even better You are a star
